Something to know about me - I will often gravitate towards a particular story for about a month or two, and then my interests will switch to something else. I might then go back to that particular story at a later point in time.
About a year ago, I became interested in the Bionicle storyline, primarily due to the world-building and the appeal of a Myst-like point-and-click adventure. Like most times, my interest in it waned and I moved on like I always do.
On about the 6th of July, I started to think about Bionicle again; I'd recently purchased MineCraft and I was thinking about making an adventure map (despite my inexperience with the system). I'd previously watched a video series by TheThreeVirtues - a youtube group of Bionicle fans - about a Minecraft map they had made, so I decided to se what they were up to. To my shock, they had posted a video pretty much on that same day about a potential leak on the - perhaps - return of Bionicle.
Back Story: This isn't the first time I've become interested in something and then it has become relevant. I've also been able to predict plot points with a relative amount of accuracy as well. My sister and I predicted the Peter-tied-to-an-anchor thing in Return to Neverland 8 YEARS before the film came out. And when I first watched the Canadian animated series Dragon Booster, we theorized that humans would be able to harness the power of the resident dragons and would be able to direct it through their hands. One week later, a character in the series did just that. This means that there is somewhat of a president for this sort of prediction to occur.
On the morning of Sunday July 13th, I had a dream about Bionicle. While most of the details don't need stating, one thing does stand out: the character Pohatu was mentioned as sort of a legendary figure. A few moments ago, I decided to see if TTV had posted anything new on this supposed comeback.
Posted on Sunday, July 13th 2014: a video describing (taken with a grain of salt mind you) potential set names for the upcoming possible return.
Among them were the Toa Mata/Nuva, including Pohatu. I'm all for coincidences and everything could simply be circumstantial. However, the coincidences are far too contrived and the dates are too precise, so I am inclined to believe otherwise. Make of the events what you will.

Improving through Inktober/Drawtober
I haven't really been one to really sit down and practice my art before; I'd say that my skills are under par because of this. Thus, I'll be starting at the beginning - relatively speaking. Throughout the month of October, I'll be focusing on a single object, selected for simplicity - a toilet paper tube. The objective is to improve my basic skills - observation, shading, drawing shapes - and on Halloween, I'll switch things up with a more complex item to see how my skills have grown and to find out what I need to improve on.
I probably won't be posting the results daily as many people do, since scanning each piece is fairly time consuming.
FINAL FANTASY UNLIMITED CHALLENGE
FINAL FANTASY UNLIMITED CHALLENGE - 2000 POINT PRIZE
-----
So twice now I've done my own version of a Final Fantasy Unlimited logo. And this got me thinking: what would other people use for the logo? What image would they use as the backdrop, what colors would they use? What would their image say about the series' story?
That brings us to here: I am hosting a contest, with a prize of 2000 points, to answer these questions. This contest will remain open until I have received at least 25 entries, giving people time to watch the series if they aren't familiar with it.

Coincidence? I think NOT!
So, you know that thing I mentioned where when I think about something, it tends to end up being a thing?
Yeah. Psychonauts 2 is crowdfunding. If only irony were in play...
Okay...?
I think that I have to mention this: apparently my Rise of the Guardians of Childhood stuff has been reblogged across the 'net. It's being used as a banner on an RP site, I've found it on a number of weird places (like patio photos of all things) and I'm starting to think that I may have done The Thing.
Should that be an "Oops" or not?
